My Cricut Projects By Type

After owning my cricut for about 3 months, I put together a post of some of the projects I had created, with links to the tutorials on how to make each one. This post will show you those:

HTV - Vinyl - Paper - Glass Etching

HTV
I love htv.  It's the easiest to weed, and its so simple to apply.  I use Siser Easyweed almost exclusively. It's cheap on amazon.  I also just use an iron, which can cause complete outrage and disbelief on many cricut groups.  I've made many, many projects by now, and all of them have held up great.  And I just use an old  thrift store iron (set between cotton & wool), on an old (literally antique - it is wood, not metal, if that makes a difference) ironing board.  I think the secret to this is the silicone baking sheets I use inside my shirts, or under the fabrics.  It creates a nice flat surface, and reflects the heat back.  I have no other explanation for why I have not needed a heat press, have not needed to "stand on my iron" and have been able to toss my shirts in with the regular laundry and have them hold up just fine week in and week out, after dozens of washes.

The First Week-end of June 2017

When I asked Dan what he wanted to do this week-end, he replied "everything", as if he hadn't been married to me for 25 years and had no idea what he would be in for.  LOL!  We SHOULD have stayed home and worked on 5 gazillion farm projects, but we decided the work could wait until Monday - we burn out if we spend too much time not making nearly enough progress on the farm, so we stretch our work days out more this year.  With all this rain, there's only so much we can do anyway. All About Fonts & Text in Cricut Design Space

Cliff Notes Version: Download your fonts from a site like Dafont.com.  They will almost always download as a .zip file Unzip them.  Use a program like WInzip or 7-Zip.
