The Best Pillow for A Good Nights Sleep

Choosing the right pillow may be very vital in accomplishing restful sleep. A proper pillow will help the top and neck with out applying immoderate strain, as it conforms to the precise shape of the bed, as a result spreading the weight frivolously and uniformly alongside the vertebrae. Pillows are a constant supply of frustration for many. In addition to aggravating the neck, plenty of pillows also can have an effect on the shoulder. The shoulder ought to not be positioned at 90 tiers to the bed, due to the fact it can cause spasms inside the trapezius muscle mass.Trapezius muscle mass perform a variety of actions, including acting as a platform to elevate the cranium, which is very important to relax in the course of sleep completely. If the shoulder is located barely ahead at the mattress in the front of the mattress, assuming that the mattress can keep this role, the threat of placing stress on the trapezius and forcing the scapula (shoulder blade) to the column is decrease...

Eternal Flame Waterfall

Image
https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC10VMY_eternal-flame-falls-earthcache? Seeing this waterfall has been on my to do list for awhile.  Geocachers on the geocaching facebook groups mention it frequently as one of the best, and of course, I love waterfalls.  So when planning our ASPGB week-end and realizing we were only an hour away, I scheduled a "detour" to finally see these falls. I was a bit nervous.  From what I had read online, it could be a dangerous hike, crossing the creek twice, steep hills, and it sounded like there was not much of a path.  I have a knee injury that has been problematic lately, and I'm still recovering from a minor health issue that had kept me from hiking much at all in the past year, meaning I am even more out of shape than normal.  But I really wanted to do this hike, and I didn't care how long it took us, we could take all day if need be.  I packed extra shoes, and even a change of clothes, just to be prepared.  (All nee...

Our Trip to ASPG 2017

Image
This post is obviously not finished.  It's a fairly filled in outline, that I intend to add links and photos to...  but I'm hitting publish now, and adding to it as I can.   This was our 3rd trip to the Allegany State Park Geobash. It's always one of our favorite events - the night caches are awesome! Each time we try to do the trip a bit differently.  This time we focused on seeing more on the way there (Friday) and on the way home (Sunday), adding in some big sightseeing adventures.  We only found around 50 geocaches in three days..  but we found GREAT caches.  We definitely focused on quality over quantity for this trip. This was the google maps My Map I plotted out to plan our trip Friday Google maps said the fastest route (by about 6 minutes) was to go out 80, then head north.  That worked for me!  It gave me an excuse to stop in Dubois at Dr Doolittle's Roadside Creamery , one of the stops on my Pa Road Trip maps.  It was a ...

Dueling Hot Dog Stands In Upstate New York

Image
While on our ASPGB 2017 road trip, our plans were changed a bit by some minor car trouble.  A quick Yelp search turned up these two hot dog stands nearby, and we decided to check them both out.  One meal at each place, that we split. We started at Taffy's, which according to Yelp reviews, is THE place for milkshakes. This is a super fun place.  All of the seating is outdoors, and almost all of it consists of these great gliders with canopies. But the surprising part was the food.  The food was REALLY good. The hotdogs had an a great taste.  The milkshake was fantastic (and came in soooooo many flavors - a whole wall of flavors) .  We got sweet potato fries with honey, and they were really good too. Spoiler alert - this place was my favorite, and I'd go out of may way to go back here again.   Next we drove the very short distance to Ted's.  This place is more of a chain, or at least there are more than one of them.  Apparently it's considered ...

The Adventures Of Molly Mouse

Image
I've had an idea for awhile, for a book about Molly and her geocaching adventures. In my head, it's actually a series of books. But on paper (or more accurately, in a digital file) there currently IS one book - I wrote one! I'm working on the illustrations now.  Because this has been an idea for awhile, I've been taking photos of Molly to use in the book.  With some creative photo editing, I think these just might work. The above image is the first draft of the cover. I'm not exactly sure where I am going with this yet.  I know I will at least self publish a few copies for my grandson, nieces and nephews, and maybe a few extra to take to geocaching events, to see if there is any interest.   No matter what I end up doing with the final project, I'm having a ridiculous amount of fun putting it together.   If you'd like to see more of what Molly is up to, you can see her adventures on Instagram under the hashtag #TheAdventuresO fMollyMouse https://www.instagra...

NEPAG 10th Anniversary Geocaching Event

Image
The Official 10th Anniversary NEPAG GeoEvent Photo Which we aren't in, because we were, as usual, late.  Because we were finding a geocache.  LOL! I am not sure we are really cut out for most geocaching events. First, we are almost always late.  When we travel an hour or more (and almost all the events we attend are 1.5-3 hours away) we geocache on our way there. That's kind of the point for us. But inevitably, that takes longer than we expect.  Especially when we run into REALLY AWESOME caches like the one at Black Forest library .  It took us longer than expected, but it was so worth it!  After way too many guardrail caches on our way to this event, this super well thought out, mildly challenging, creative cache was especially appreciated. LOVE these smiley rocks for paperweights - what a great idea! So as usual, we were about 20 minutes late to the NEPAG event.  Which means we probably missed all the information that would have been helpful, and mad...
